Usain Bolt’s world record 100 meters time of 9.58 seconds was set in Berlin 2009. Usain Bolt won gold in both the 100m and 200m final.

Usain Bolt is most known for his 100 meters world record time however he has won more medals in the 200 meter sprint. Usain Bolt is also an eleven-time world champion and Jamaica’s most popular athlete. In addition to the 100m and 200m sprints, Usain Bolt has also won gold for Jamaica in the 4x100m mens relay. He is also the first athlete to achieve a double win at both the 100 m and 200 m titles in consecutive Olympic games. As the current World champion Usain Bolt is tipped to win the 100 meters final again in Rio 2016.
